The brand lives by three key missionary principles; Better Ingredients, Better Ethics & Better Chocolate. To design a website that is consistent with their re-brand, improves customer-purchase-flow and offers the level of excitement and energy that the brand's products and team work to create. To develop a bespoke theme upon the Shopify platform bringing the designs to life using web based animation and hover-effects to improve engagement. To have a content management solution that would allow the team to update their website easily & quickly without the requirement of developers to change text, colours & images.
We conducted in-depth competitor research to understand the industry and produced designs that stood out in a saturated market. We designed the website with their identity in mind - with animated moving shapes consistent with their packaging, a smile shape background on their homepage to match their logo and even bespoke individual product pages.
We developed a basket that updates without page refresh & allows immediate checkout after adding to the cart - massively reducing clicks-to-checkout. We developed the website on the Shopify platform using bespoke sections and blocks - to allow the brand to update almost every part of the website in a user-friendly and code-free way. Since launch, feedback has been extremely positive and has gained large traction on social media.
